The central library of Bodofa U. N. Brahma College started functioning with the establishment of the college on 18 July 1997. The library was housed in an Assam type independent house facing a vast green campus towards the east. Initially, the library provided its service to the higher secondary students from 1997 to 2003. It was in 2003, the degree course was started and the library had its opportunity to disseminate the needed information and knowledge to the degree students. Thereafter the library was shifted to the present temporary building attached to the administrative section. The college also introduced commerce in 2010 and science stream in 2012 and the central library added its services to the said streams.

The Central Library serves as the intellectual hub of the institution, dedicated to supporting the academic community through comprehensive access to both physical and digital resources. The library is designed to foster an environment of learning, research, and innovation.

The library houses an extensive and well curated collection that includes over 11,000 volumes of books, 5 journals, 5 newspapers, and project reports covering disciplines in Arts, Science and Commerce.

A wide range of e-books and e-journals published by more than 30 National and International publishers subscribed to ONOS by INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The central library has a reading room and a reference section along with the text books available for the courses. The library is automated with KOHA library management software and integrated with RFID technology.

All library operations, such as acquisition, cataloguing, classification, circulation, and automated email notifications, are fully computerized to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and user convenience.

The Central Library provides a comfortable, resource-rich space that serves students, faculty, and researchers alike, promoting academic excellence and a culture of continuous learning.
